The establishment of the Innovation Center marks a bold new step to advance health care technology and practice to even higher levels. Our vision is to be the regional destination for research-driven innovation in health care.
The Innovation Center possesses the infrastructure to sustain effective research and innovation, and offers rewarding opportunities for talented interdisciplinary teams that include academic and industry researchers working with physicians, nurses, imaging scientists and other health care professionals.

The Innovation Center focuses on projects that will improve health and enhance medical practice for patients locally, as well as around the globe. To achieve success, the center integrates research and development initiatives - such as those of the Wallace-Kettering Neuroscience Institute (WKNI) - with new opportunities and partnerships that, in turn, bring cutting edge medicine to the Greater Dayton region.
The Center focuses in three areas that function synergistically: imaging science, clinical trials and translational research. This approach allows our scope of work to be broad, ranging from the development of new imaging techniques, or drug and device studies, to the testing of clinical guidelines for effectiveness.
Our broad capacity, however, does not dilute our focus. In each area of focus, our goal is clear: transform the health of those we serve by bringing innovation to the bedside. Our commitment to this goal will produce superior outcomes as we put into the hands of health care providers the most effective tools for improving their patients' health and quality of life.

The Innovation Center at Kettering Health Network is making a difference in people's health by cultivating new technologies and fostering best practices among partners from industry, academia and health care. Here, drug and device companies, the imaging industry and health care researchers and practitioners have the opportunity to work in close partnership toward a common mission: translating innovations into superior health.
The Center coordinates research and translates discoveries into practical new tools and practices that be redelivered to the bedside. This results in more effective diagnosis and treatment of disease. In addition, our work will lead to the development of an environment which delivers exceptional care for the communities that Kettering Health Network serves.
